I have been given the Happy 101 Award by the beautiful Lilly Lemontree! I accept graciously. I love that my blog makes others happy. It's what I strive for! If you haven't been by her fabulous fashion blog you must run over immediately... well, as soon as you've finished reading this!

Things that make me happy!

1. Alexander crawling into bed with me at night, curling up right by me... giving me a hug or a kiss... or both, telling me he loves me before falling back to sleep.

2. The spectacular Spring weather that has graced us these past few days... with flowering cherry blossoms, and magnolia trees... emerald green grass... crisp ocean breezes and a glass of wine on the deck, as the kids play outside at the end of the day. It doesn't get much better than that!

3. Freshly cut flowers in my home.

4. Baking for friends

5. Getting up early before the children to enjoy my morning cappuccino in bed,

the peace and quiet before the chaos ensues!

6. A long soak in my oversized tub with bubbles, a glass of wine and a really good book.

7. The smells of summer rain, freshly cut grass,
summer barbeques, burning autumn leaves, apple pie baking in the oven...

8. Entertaining or going out to eat with my friends

9. Freshly cleaned sheets

10. Champagne!
