Oh my goodness!

After several days of bone chilling temperatures and cold rain, I had to pull my coat out of hibernation for a while. I can safely say that I am permanently hanging that coat back up and putting it in the back of the front hall closet with all the other heavy outerwear items!

Now it's time to move on to flip flops, bathing suits and loose, comfortable fitting tunics...

Sunscreen, sunglasses and magazines a must. Straw hat is optional. Iced tea is mandatory!

I will be poolside with the children today.

I am grateful for the wonderfully glorious day that lies ahead...

And while summer doesn't truly start for another month, summer is a state of mind, and in my mind summer starts... NOW!
