the rains have stopped and the sun is out. her bright warm rays illuminate and warm all in her path... all in our path. yesterday our path led down to the beach and the wonderful playground there. we picnicked on sandwiches and climbed and swung on the swings and saw dozens upon dozens of parakeets. yes parakeets! along the shoreline of connecticut these parakeets seem to have found a new home. the sounds of the rain forest echo along our beaches. i was so grateful to have had my little camera with me though i wish i had the good one. the parakeets built nests large and round like globes with a small entryway at the bottom. tomorrow is supposed to be another spectacular day. we'll return to the beach and to the playground there with the hopes of getting a closer look at these green tropical creatures.
