Bravo's doing it again! Another docu-drama... this one evolving around New York City's Upper East Side kids...
NYC Prep is being produced based on the success of "Gossip Girl. The Bravo Network is pushing through a scripted docu-series called "NYC Prep" to air this summer. The program will follow a group of six affluent teenagers high up on the food chain of Manhattan's social circle. The series is set to premiere on Tuesday, June 16 at 11 p.m. Et/Pt before moving to its regular time slot on Tuesday, June 23 at 10 p.m. Et/Pt. This should be interesting and if not anything else, certainly entertaining!
Having done the NYC prep school scene (albeit many, many, many years ago) I'll weigh in on the authenticity... These kids are beautiful, rich, cunning and super-intelligent. Let nothing phase you because nothing phases them. I'm curious as to what this "New Housekids of New York City" will be all about, and you betcha my TiVo will be booked solid!
