Snow is wondrous, magical, and wonderful... it brings smiles to our faces and brings us all back to happy times. Snow helps to make our holidays merrier and brighter... It makes us smile... it makes us, if only temporarily, forget our worries... It's beautiful and brings beauty to everything it touches.

We could all use a little snow around here. It would do wonders to lift our spirits and help us get into that wonderful, magical holiday mood. This year, it looks as though we may possibly have a white Christmas after all. Snow is due to come and pay us all a visit! Hurrah-Hurrah!

We need a little Christmas, right this very minute,
We need a little Christmas now!

I think that paper snow flakes are just as magical and just as wondrous!
You don't need snow tires and you don't need to shovel them out!

They're so easy and fun to make and children love them.
And  I'd love for you all to gather your kids, friends kids and grandkids around the table, turn on some music, heat up some cocoa and make some of these ... not for yourselves but for the students of Sandy Hook Elementary School!

Snowflakes have been requested by the Newtown schools to help create a winter wonderland for their students. Here is the information from the CT PTSA:
Please help the students of Sandy Hook have a winter wonderland at their new school! Get Creative!! No two snowflakes are alike. Make and send snowflakes to Connecticut PTSA, 60 Connolly Parkway, Building 12, Suite 103, Hamden, CT 06514, by January 12, 2013.

Click on this link for some great paper snowflake templates and let's make their welcome back an extra special one!

Thank you so much!

XOXO,
Jessica
