Oh Lordy do I love my boots. I love black boots and brown boots and beige boots and grey boots. Go ahead, toss me some red boots, or purple boots. I dare you too! I love flat boots and high heeled boots. I love boots that go to my knee and boots that go above. I love boots with pants, with jeans, with skirts and most of all I love boots and dresses. Easy, simple shifts and sheaths with a pair of boots. This, in my opinion, is wardrobe perfection.

And a piece of funky jewelry. Or some pearls. Big pearls. Big, fat, bold pearls. The bigger the better. The more the merrier. I love boots in the fall because we can toss them on and not have to worry about tights or hose. I hate to feel restricted and confined. I think dresses and boots are casual and simple and yet sexy and sophisticated. They're so easy. You can just slip into both. There's no effort involved and yet you can look so polished and put together, or so completely at ease and relaxed. I went poking around New Canaan today looking for a little dress. I'm in dire need of new dresses.

That's what I'm about... ease and comfort. But I want to look good. I just don't want to go to any trouble. Call me lazy. Really, that's what it's all about. A dress and a pair of boots. It really doesn't get any easier and lazier than that. But don't tell anyone! I'm all for high comfort and low maintenance. A dress and a pair of boots. Trust me on this!
