My daughter could wear it. My mother could wear it. I live in mine. I simply adore it. It's a staple in my wardrobe and I can wear it 3 seasons out of the year. I can wear it with pants and dresses. I can make it formal. I love it with my jeans. A white coat with worn over all black is divine. Demure. Supreme. Sexy. Confident. Elegant. Sophisticated. Edgy. White over black is dramatic. Genius. I wonder if it will be cool enough to bring my white coat to London... I do wonder...

I'm in the market for a new one. To tell you the truth mine has seen better days. She's been worn. And loved. Perhaps worn and loved to death. And she's had more visits to the dry cleaner than Oscar the Grouch has to the Junkyard... Another secret. I found her at Old Navy about 5 years ago. Needless to say I got it for a song. I've had more compliments on that one coat than any other article of clothing I own! Truth be told I never thought it would last an entire season, let alone many years. I may even check back there later this fall... unfortunately the Valentino is a wee bit out of my price range at the moment....
