In the grand old homes of Newport, plantations of the South, Manor Houses and Castles of Europe a staircase was a symbol of wealth and opulence. The art and architecture of a stunning staircase caught the eyes of the beholders. But, even a simple staircase can be transformed into a wondrous and thought provoking piece of art.
