Fab beauty finds via Influenster

Not too long ago I was selected to participate in influenster's February promotion. First, let me begin by telling you a little bit about influenster. In their own words influenster is:

Influenster [in-floo-uhn-ster]

noun
An exclusive online community where tastemakers and trendsetters (such as yourself) come to share the latest and greatest news, places, products, and reviews with each other. 2. The hotspot you just bookmarked on your web browser that turns your social influence into sweet rewards.
Basically, Influenster is a place for culture junkies to come together and share their unique opinions of products and experiences. Active members of Influenster get exclusive access to deals, promotions, and swag from brands that thrive off the input (the good, the bad, and the ugly -- they just want to know what's up).

It's completely free to join, so if you have a blog or a presence on other social media sites, hop on over to the influenster website and see how you can participate!

In March I got this fabulous orange box in the mail. I couldn't wait to see what was inside!

All sorts of fabulous goodies for me to try and review!

I'm a huge fan of Vaseline and Vaseline products and I couldn't wait to give this a try!

What I found. I love the Vaseline Spray & Go moisturizer. It's easy to use and lightweight so that you can store it and carry it anywhere. It's perfect for mornings, after the shower, after the gym and even for travel. I would like to note that for those of you with extra dry skin you, this may not provide enough moisturizing for you. I found that I needed something heavier after the shower. But when I did that a quick spritz at the end of or beginning of my day was perfect. This will be a perfect moisturizer for me during the warmer months when my skin isn't parched and dehydrated from the dry heat in my home.

This came just in time... I was just about out of toothpaste!

Truth be told I am a Crest girl. I am also the person who buys what's on sale, so I do vacillate  between Crest and Colgate. I had never used the Optic White products and was happy to give it a go. I love my battery operated toothbrush and have grown quite addicted to them. I thought I wasn't going to like this toothbrush but I was most pleasantly surprised. I found that it left my mouth feeling really fresh and clean. I loved the toothpaste as well. It claims that your teeth will be whiter after just 5 days providing you use the toothpaste along with the mouthwash. I'm always a skeptic. I was eager to prove them wrong. I have to admit I didn't love the mouthwash/teeth whitener. I really wanted to but I found it to be too strong and it bothered my teeth and gums. I'm not sure whether my teeth are whiter or not, but they seem to be brighter... I'll take that!

OH... YUM!

I discovered these belVita breakfast cookies a couple of months ago and they keep disappearing from my cupboard! In addition to the cinnamon that was provided to me, they come in blueberry and much to my surprised discovery the other day, chocolate! There are 4 biscuits in a pouch. The entire pouch has 240 calories. You can eat 1 or all 4 cookies... and you can do the math in terms of calories... all of the pleasure and none of the guilt! I've had these as a late breakfast/morning snack on the train commuting into the city, in the car en route to a meeting, before the gym, after the gym and even as an afternoon snack. The blueberry and apple cinnamon ones are my favorite for mornings, but the chocolate ones are my afternoon favorites. My children adore them too... as I said, I really can't keep these in the house for long!

 A perfect solution!

I'm a huge witch hazel fan. I love it on my face. Now Dickinson's comes in towelettes. I have these stashed all over the place... make-up bags, gym bags, overnight bags. These guys are genius for doing this! Witch hazel is not only amazing for your skin, it can treat acne, reduce puffiness, heal a bruise, clean a wound, soothe an itch, refresh your skin, refine your pores, seal your skin - it's an astringent but it is not alcohol so it's not drying! It can also stop bleeding, reduce swelling, treat swimmer's ear and sore throats. Hello, why do you not have these in your purses, cars, gym bags, medicine cabinets???!!!

The last box to open and try was Splenda's nectresse which is made from entirely natural ingredients including monkfruit. I tried a packet in my coffee one morning but I didn't love it. I thought it left me with an odd sort of fruity and bitter after-taste. I would think, however, I might like it in an iced tea, so the next time I make a pot of iced tea I will try these again.

As for the other products I received, they all will be staples in my home!

Have you seen any of these on grocery store shelves and wondered whether to try them or not? Hopefully, now you will!

XOXO,

Jessica

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
